Lease agreement for rental property
- The lessee is responsible for ensuring that the applicable laws, rules and regulations regarding the trailer/rental object and its application are complied with. This applies, among other things, to requirements for certificate classifications, characteristics of towing vehicles and general and local parking regulations, overloading etc. (see rules at vegesen.no and information relating to each individual trailer type on our website www.Lillestrømtuleie.no .). The tenant is responsible for and pays any fines or fees for parking offenses or use in general. Disputes between the tenant and any other rights holders/third parties/aggrieved parties shall not be charged to the landlord in any way. If an "aggrieved" third party were to make a claim against the lessor as the owner of the equipment, the lessor will have full recourse against the lessee in respect of to claims, as well as a processing fee of minimum NOK. 500,-. The trailer/rental object with equipment can only be used by the lessee. The lessee has full responsibility for the trailer from and including the inspection upon delivery to and including handing in and the final inspection. The landlord can accept a person other than the tenant (e.g. by agreement with a company) for collection/use. This person must accept to be jointly and severally responsible for compliance with the agreement and must enter their name, address, telephone number (which matches the ID check below) in the agreement. Both parties can be claimed for any default. Identification is required for pick-up. If in doubt about the correct ID, the landlord can refuse delivery.
- Inspection The tenant has a duty to inspect the rental property and report to the landlord if there are any faults or deficiencies in the equipment. The lessee has the right to reject a pre-ordered trailer/rental object if specific faults or deficiencies in the equipment can be pointed out. The lessor is then obliged to come up with a similar trailer/rental object that the lessee can accept as a replacement. If this cannot be carried out because all units are rented out or damaged - or are out of service for other reasons, the tenant has the opportunity to cancel the agreement. The lessor is then obliged to repay the entire advance without undue delay.
- Care of the trailer/rental object and any damage The tenant must take good care of the trailer and attached equipment. During the rental period, the lessee is responsible for damage to the equipment regardless of the cause. The tenant's deductible for damages is unlimited. The tenant is responsible for filling in the damage report - possibly in collaboration with relevant, involved third parties. Failure to report damage means that the lessor directs claims directly to the lessee regardless of damage and liability. If the trailer/rental object is stolen from the tenant, the tenant must immediately report the theft to the police and to the landlord. A copy of any notification is delivered in the shop at the landlord's. Any limited damages are charged to the tenant upon return in accordance with the price list for spare parts as well as a handling fee of NOK. 500,-. For more extensive damage, a claim/invoice will be sent in accordance with repair costs, handling fees and loss for business interruption. In the event of negligence such as overloading, exceeding speed limits, parking without securing the trailer etc., the tenant is unlimitedly liable for any damage or loss/theft.
- Rental objects can be booked in advance on Lillestrøm Utleie's website Lillestrømutlie.no, Minimum rental time is 2 hours. Advance payment for the rental period is paid in full unless otherwise agreed before delivery. In addition, it is necessary to have a mobile phone to receive the reservation code. When you have entered the necessary reservation for the desired trailer/rental object, you will receive a confirmation on your mobile phone. This must be brought to the lessor in order to be handed over the trailer/rental object. A valid ID is required by the lessor and is a prerequisite for renting a trailer and other equipment.
-
Cancellation and rebooking If the tenant wishes to cancel or change the rental period, this must be done no later than 24 hours before the ordered delivery time. Cancellations or re-orders after this will be charged a minimum of 3 hours' hire for trailers, 3/8 of a day's hire for machines and equipment. If the tenant wishes to move the times for handing in or handing over, this assumes that the trailer/rental object - is available within the new desired rental period. If not, the lessor can withdraw from the agreement with the above-mentioned conditions. An agreement cannot be extended by more than 100% of the originally agreed rental period without an additional, complete advance payment. In case of breach of this, the lessor can immediately seize the trailer / rental object - himself or with the help of a third party.
-
Return of trailer/rental object The trailer/rental object must be returned to Lillestrøm Utleie AS – i.e. at the same place as delivery and at the agreed time. The rental object must be delivered cleaned and possibly with a full fuel tank. If this is not done, a cleaning fee and fuel fee will be added. See our website www.Lillestrømtuleie.no for prices.
- Delay in return The lessee is obliged to return the trailer/rental object at the agreed time. In addition to the regular price, a 50% overtime rate is charged for delays. However, the tenant can contact the landlord within the last hour, who can voluntarily accept to extend the rental period if the trailer/rental object is available.
